If you should ever leave me,
so that I would be here alone.
My life would fall to pieces,
trying to deal with the unknown.
Seems my life is built around you
and I count on your every move.
To be left alone and abandoned
there'd be nothing left to prove.
To have to live with out you
the love I've come to trust.
I think my heart would break
I think it would surely bust.
I can't bear the thought
of you no longer here.
As we climb up in our years
this becomes a terrible fear.
But if you should ever pass
and leave me here behind.
